The prize-winning academic had cracked the code to use software to scan complex pathology and radiology records quickly and accurately. His company, Health Language Analytics, had already successfully built technology for the NSW and Victorian cancer registries that could accurately determine how far a cancer patient’s tumour had progressed by looking at radiology reports, instead of the traditional method of pathology reports.
